Veteran Engineering and Technology, LLC (VET) requires a Project Manager to lead various project management activities. Existing program transitions requiring the expertise of a skilled project manager include:
- Project management experience with full time on the gov’t site presence
- Personnel/Team management, staffing, networking
- Relationship management with gov’t customer
- Routine reporting experience – build, presentation, documentation, follow up
- Experience with defined processes and certifications
- Experience with costing projects/estimating efforts
- Budget management and variance analysis
- Analytics – ability to read the tea leaves and understand why or why anomalies occur
- Experience seeking new opportunities
- Have existing relationships with various gov’t agencies
- Ability to manage multiple contracts
- Proposal development experience
- Experience in leveraging AI in proposal writing (currency)
- Experience with a prime contractor on Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V
- Familiarity with key stakeholders at SEWP PMO
- Familiarity with the CHUM manual (Contract Holder User Manual)
- Familiarity with SEWP PMO rules
- Knowledge of FEDRAMP
- Knowledge of Joint Venture primes and challenges
- Experience in sales of technology equipment and value-added solutions – i.e. Dell, Cisco, Oracle, AWS, Microsoft
- Experience in establishing Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) relationships; authorized reseller relationships.
- Experience in sales team management and training requirements
- Know the difference between a true IT professional services contract and one with value added services.
- Have some direct agency experiences from across the government spectrum
Minimum Qualifications
· BS/BA in an related discipline
· 10 years of experience supporting project management activities. 4 years must be in a supervisory role.
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
· Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with customers and associated associates in group presentations and meetings
· Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
· Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
· Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.
