Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Disaster Restoration Project Manager to lead and manage restoration projects following disasters such as floods, fires, and other emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project coordination, ensuring that all aspects of the restoration process are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee disaster restoration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project execution.
- Utilize construction management software for project scheduling and tracking progress.
- Conduct site inspections to assess damage and determine restoration needs.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates using tools such as xactimate.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Implement effective time management strategies to meet project deadlines.
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and practices.
- Experience in project scheduling and coordination within the construction industry.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of contracts related to construction projects.
- Previous experience in construction site management or working with insurance carriers is highly desirable.
