*ServiceMaster by Crossroads Restoration Services is immediately hiring for a Lead Carpenter*
ServiceMaster by Crossroads Restoration Services is currently expanding our team by adding an additional Lead Carpenter. We are currently only accepting applicants with a minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in managing projects from start to finish. This role requires leadership abilities, as you will oversee a team and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Rebuilding all aspects from: Water, Fire, Mold, Sewage, and Board-Up jobs
- Drywall: hanging/taping/finishing, framing, painting, trim, light roof repair, insulating, etc.
- Show up on time in a neat and clean manner that best represents Crossroads
- Communicate with staff and customers in a professional manner
- Supervise, lead and provide direction to general laborers on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Perform construction estimating to determine the materials and labor required for projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of work across various aspects of the project.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting safety for all team members.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven 2 years of experience as a carpenter
- Proficiency in construction
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in carpentry work.
- Ability to read schematics and floorplans accurately.
- Experience in mold/water/fire remediation is preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
