Technical Project / Program Manager

Job Description

At Redwood Strong, the Technical Project / Program Manager (TPM) serves as a critical bridge between engineering, operations, customers, and executive leadership. This role is responsible for helping drive execution across multiple defense and technology programs while establishing the program management discipline needed to support the company's continued growth.

This position is ideal for a motivated, hands-on professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and wants to grow alongside the company. The successful candidate is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, create executive-level briefings, track financial performance, organize deliverables, and help engineering leaders stay focused on mission execution.

Unlike traditional program management positions in large organizations, this role requires a "doer" mentality. The Technical Program Manager will actively support proposal efforts, customer engagements, program reviews, budgeting activities, schedules, risk management, and strategic planning. The individual will work directly with engineering leadership and company executives to create structure, improve reporting, and establish scalable program management processes (as needed) that enable Redwood's next phase of growth.

The ideal candidate possesses a balance of technical aptitude, business acumen, strong organizational skills, and a genuine desire to learn the defense industry while contributing immediately.
