WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Successful BMF Project Managers create clarity, predictability, and accountability across their projects.

The project schedule is current, accurate, and actively drives execution at every applicable level of the project. Production, subcontractors, supporting departments, leadership, and the customer understand current priorities and upcoming requirements.

The Project Manager knows the project's financial position, identifies schedule and cost risks early, and drives recovery rather than assigning blame when performance falls behind plan.

The customer receives consistent and professional communication. They understand BMF's successes, upcoming needs, constraints, risks, and required actions.

Contractual deliverables are controlled, project documentation is maintained, and unfavorable information is communicated early enough for the organization to act.

Problems will occur in ship repair. Successful Project Managers do not hide them. They identify them early, communicate them clearly, develop a plan, and drive the project toward recovery.
