Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of electrical project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Your expertise in electrical systems, construction management, and project coordination will drive successful project outcomes while fostering a collaborative team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex electrical infrastructure projects that make a tangible impact on communities and industries.

Responsibilities

● Lead project startup — review scope, estimate, drawings, and contract with the estimator before costs are incurred

● Create and own the project budget from day one; maintain accurate monthly projections due before the 10th of each month

● Monitor and manage labor productivity weekly; address variances before they compound

● Own the RFI, submittal, and change order process end-to-end — from identification through approval and budget update

● Negotiate and capture all legitimate change orders; never let scope creep go undocumented

● Schedule and manage manpower on site in coordination with the superintendent, without Division Manager input for routine decisions

● Serve as the primary relationship owner with the GC and developer — proactive communication, no surprises

● Conduct a pre-construction meeting with the Division Manager, superintendent, and foremen before mobilization

● Lead project closeout — as-built drawings, warranty documentation, punch list, back charge resolution, and post-mortem meeting

● Develop the APM and Project Engineer assigned to their projects — teaching, not just delegating
