Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial, industrial, institutional, and healthcare electrical construction projects from award through closeout. The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel.

This position serves as a key leader within our organization, driving project success through effective planning, communication, financial management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements.
Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, cost, and productivity challenges.
Coordinate project activities with general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and company standards.

Financial Management

Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost controls.
Prepare and track monthly financial reports and job cost projections.
Develop scope for purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and vendor commitments.
Identify and pursue change order opportunities.
Manage project billing and assist with collections as necessary.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead project teams including field supervisors, foremen, and support staff.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and develop project engineers and junior project managers.
Support workforce planning and manpower allocation efforts.

Client Relations

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.
Resolve project issues while maintaining positive working relationships.

Risk & Quality Management

Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards.
Support company safety initiatives and promote a zero-incident culture.
Manage project documentation, contract compliance, and closeout procedures.

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of electrical project management experience.
Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical construction.
Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $500K to $20M+.
Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, and change order management.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.

Preferred

Experience with Procore, Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar software platforms.
Design-build and design-assist project experience.
Experience in healthcare, industrial, commercial, hospitality, aerospace and tenant-improvement.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
