Job Description

Summit Properties, a national general contractor with 30 plus years in the commercial construction industry is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager in the Phoenix, AZ market.

POSITION IS REMOTE, BUT CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL.

Responsibilities:

Lead by Company Values & Key Performance Principles
Managing multiple active retail / TI / rollout projects ($50K–$5M)
Full project ownership from contract execution through closeout
Budget creation, buyouts, cost tracking, and forecasting
Subcontractor solicitation, leveling, award, and management
Change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation
Direct communication with owners, architects, and inspectors
Schedule-driven delivery with accountability for results
Travel and attend site visits as required

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5–10 years as a Project Manager for a commercial General Contractor
Direct retail / tenant improvement / multi-site rollout experience
Proven history managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong subcontractor management and cost control skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project)
