Position Summary

The Construction Carpentry Foreman is a working carpentry position responsible for leading internal crews, coordinating daily

construction activities, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and

ensuring quality workmanship. The Foreman serves as the primary on-site leader,

overseeing trades professionals, materials, and equipment to successfully complete

projects on time, within budget, and according to Kaiker D+C quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

● Complete and direct carpentry daily work of onsite personnel.

● Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maintain project productivity and

● Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, and project

schedules.

● Monitor quality control and ensure all work meets company and client

expectations.

● Communicate project progress, challenges, and updates to management.

● Train, mentor, and develop crew members.

● Maintain accurate daily reports, timecards, and production records.

● Ensure proper use, maintenance, and security of company tools and equipment.

● Represent the company professionally with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and

inspectors.

Qualifications

● Minimum 3–5 years of construction experience in a leadership role such as

Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Crew Leader, or similar position.

● Strong knowledge of carpentry with both residential, commercial and best construction practices.

● Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of

work.

● Proven ability to lead carpentry crews.

● Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

● OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred. (We do provide training)

● Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

● Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

● Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and navigate active construction sites.

● Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended

periods.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

*The above includes base wages only as prevailing wages may increase salary.
