Responsibilities

Conduct water damage assessments and implement effective drying and mitigation strategies using industry-standard equipment.
Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, mold remediation, and general debris removal to restore properties to their pre-damage condition.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for demolition, repairs, and restoration work.
Assist with fire restoration projects by removing soot, cleaning affected surfaces, and applying appropriate treatments.
Support asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols to ensure environmental health standards are met.
Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress with team members and clients.
Maintain cleanliness of work sites, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields with knowledge of water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement.
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for demolition, repair, and cleaning tasks.
Strong understanding of cleaning techniques specific to carpets, upholstery, and affected surfaces.
Ability to operate specialized equipment for water extraction, drying, and mold removal effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to identify damage sources and determine appropriate restoration methods.
Good physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environmental conditions.
