Position Description: Nodi Solutions is seeking a consultant to work with our Washington DC-based Government clients to help design, develop, conduct, and evaluate homeland security exercises.

Responsibilities may include:

· Coordinating and maintaining the relationship between contractor staff, government client, and stakeholders

· Supporting exercise planning and reporting

· Applying knowledge of emergency management preparedness programs and principles and applicable documents

· Maintaining high quality level of deliverables and products

· Apply consulting expertise, including data collection, analysis, basic writing, listening, and note taking to support clients and stakeholders

· Apply oral and written communication expertise to develop project deliverables

Required Qualifications:

· U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DHS Suitability

· Bachelors degree

· 3-5 years of experience with emergency management and/or exercises, demonstrating:

o Familiarity with all-hazards emergency management;

o Experience with the application of and certified in HSEEP;

o Excellent writing and grammar skills;

o Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills;

o Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; and

o Proficiency in research, analysis, and creative thinking.

· Ability to work independently with time management skills, as well as function in a team environment

· Ability to complete high-quality, detail-oriented deliverables amid competing deadlines

· Ability to perform an expanded array of tasks assigned by higher level staff, designed to broaden experience and familiarization with methods, practices, and programs

· Ability to exercise initiative, resourcefulness, and tact in obtaining and analyzing information related to projects

· Ability to represent Nodi Solutions in meetings with clients to resolve complex issues and to plan and coordinate work

· Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Desired Qualifications:

· Understanding of FEMA's National Incident Management System (NIMS), the Incident Command System (ICS), Presidential Policy Directive 8, the National Response Framework, the National Disaster Recovery Framework, and other relevant federal policies and/or documents

· Experience with critical infrastructure owners/operators

· Experience with client interactions, task management, and business development desired; no project management or staff management experience required
