Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Roofer/Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn on the job. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with their tasks.
Perform heavy lifting and carry materials as needed on the job site.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
Participate in metal stud framing and other structural tasks.
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Help with trim carpentry and remodeling projects as directed.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Fabricate components as necessary for various construction projects.
Assist in plumb installations and adjustments.

Skills

Proficient in heavy lifting techniques to safely handle materials.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Experience with metal stud framing is preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and ability to plumb accurately.
Carpentry skills, including trim carpentry, are a plus.
Familiarity with fabrication processes for construction components.
General maintenance person skills to assist with various tasks around the site.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
