Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction process by providing accurate estimates and managing project costs. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of construction management, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. The Project Estimator will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for remodel construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and site visits.
Analyze project requirements and develop comprehensive pricing strategies.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
Utilize estimating software including Xactimate to create accurate bids and manage project costs. Please don't apply if you do not have Xactimate experience.
Collaborate with project management teams to monitor ongoing costs and implement cost control measures.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for accurate estimating.
Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and analyze bid proposals from subcontractors for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

MUST HAVE 10 years of proven experience in construction estimating.
Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
Familiarity with project management methodologies is preferred.
Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on contract management.
Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions based on cost control measures.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders in the construction process.
A background in construction site operations and insurance restoration.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
