Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our construction projects from the ground up. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and efficient project execution. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget, fueling our growth and reputation in the construction industry. Responsibilities

Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop comprehensive cost estimates using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to understand project scope and requirements.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
Prepare bid proposals that clearly outline costs, timelines, and assumptions to support winning new business opportunities.
Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgets through effective cost control strategies.
Assist in contract review and management, ensuring all terms align with project goals and company policies.
Support construction site teams by providing accurate estimations that facilitate smooth project execution and scheduling.
Maintain detailed records of estimates, contracts, change orders, and project documentation for transparency and future reference.

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes, site management, and cost control techniques.
Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent tools; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to achieve favorable terms.
Hands-on construction site experience that provides insight into field operations and project management practices.
Knowledge of contracts, bidding procedures, project scheduling, and construction management principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present clear estimates and proposals.
