Roles and Responsibilities:

Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
Support consulting engagements by conducting market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis.
Collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to define solution approaches aligned with client objectives.
Assist in creating business cases, value propositions, and solution decks for client presentations.
Participate in workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement elicitation sessions.
Analyse datasets to derive actionable insights related to customer behaviour, sales performance, supply chain, or merchandising.
Contribute to product thinking by supporting feature prioritization, backlog grooming, and basic product documentation.
Ensure clear communication between business and technical teams to drive project execution.
Support delivery teams in UAT, validation, and solution adoption by business users.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

2+ years of experience in a consulting, analytics, or business analysis role (consulting exposure is mandatory)
Basic understanding of Retail or CPG domain (e.g., merchandising, supply chain, demand planning, customer analytics)
Exposure to Product Management concepts such as user stories, roadmaps, or feature prioritization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure ambiguous problems.
Working knowledge of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably SQL or any data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau etc)
Familiarity with requirement gathering techniques, process mapping, and documentation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA is a plus but not mandatory)
