Title: Commercial Project Manager

Reports to: Commercial Dept. Director

Based at: ICC Floors Plus HQ - Castleton

Compensation: Salary + Bonus

Job purpose:

Manage awarded projects from start to finish with full P&L responsibilities while ensuring each project finishes on schedule, under budget and to our quality standards. As the main face of ICC Floors Plus you are responsible for all project communication, coordination, customer satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Initial project set up and ongoing maintenance in ERP software system
Oversee material submittal approvals and ordering as required by contract
Control costs by proper management of installation labor and material ordering process
Participate in onsite meetings with project stake holders as needed
Coordinate with ICC Floors Plus field management staff to track and manage project scheduling updates, deliveries, and installations.
Oversee installation crew selection process, scheduling and quality control
Oversee proper monthly progress billing, payment collection & allocation
Mange all contract docs and change orders
Handle project close out tasks as required by contract
Other duties and assignments as needed.

Personal profile

Personality: Detail oriented individual with high focus on organization, details, and follow-up. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality, customer satisfaction, and business profit. Well presented and businesslike. Able to communicate with installers, superintendents, General Contractors, and inspectors.

Specific Job Skills: Able to communicate and motivate via face-to-face interaction, written communication. Understands the principles of commercial construction and profit maximization. Able to translate individual project demands into a fully executed and competitive plan

Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, Internet, email. Able to quickly learn and become proficient at new computer programs, mainly RFMS and customer’s project management software.

Literacy and Numeracy: Able to understand material and labor quantities, profit margin calculations, and ancillary items calculations. Must be a very competent writer, and be able to professionally communicate to clients, vendors, customers, and installation staff.

Business Skills: Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to work through issues while protecting the interests of the company, and still delivering on expectations. Demonstrate success managing clients’ expectations and limitations. Ideal background would be in commercial estimating for a construction based trade.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
