Overview of the Role:

Traditional Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Versatile Tradesman to contribute to a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.

This person MUST have at least 5 years experience in Construction.

This role demands a broad skillset and the ability to independently tackle diverse tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks across various trades, including but not limited to:

Carpentry: Basic framing, door and window installation/repair, trim work, cabinet installation.
Painting: Interior and exterior painting, surface preparation.
Drywall: Patching and repairing holes, basic finishing.
General Repairs: Addressing issues with flooring, siding, and other building components.
Tile installation.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications as needed.
Plumbing: Fixing leaks, re-routing PVC/CPVC in bathroom and kitchen renovations, basic fixture replacement (faucets, toilets).
Electrical: Basic troubleshooting, replacing outlets and switches, light fixture installation
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively, determining the best course of action for repair or maintenance.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality, safety, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company tools and equipment.
Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and other team members.
Accurately communicate work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
Proactively identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance measures.
Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
Occasionally assist with other tasks as needed to support overall team goals.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience (typically 3+ years) working as a multi-skilled tradesman or in a similar role.
Demonstrable proficiency in multiple core trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and practices.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., indoors, outdoors, varying temperatures).

Compensation:

· Hourly wage – BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
