Position Overview

Parra Electric is seeking a results-driven Electrical Project Manager to lead awarded projects from kickoff through final completion.

This role is responsible for execution, financial oversight, and professional client communication. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact during construction and will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and with strong margin protection.

This is not an estimating role. This is a leadership and execution role.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Leadership

Manage electrical projects ranging from $10K–$500K+
Lead project kickoff meetings with field teams
Coordinate manpower planning and job schedules
Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and productivity
Provide clear direction to lead technicians

Financial Oversight

Review job cost reports weekly
Protect and improve project gross margins
Prepare, submit, and track progress billing
Price and present change orders promptly
Prevent scope creep through documentation and communication

Client & Stakeholder Communication

Serve as primary contact for GCs, customers, and inspectors
Attend site meetings and document action items
Maintain proactive, professional communication
Ensure clean and organized project closeouts

Operational Accountability

Resolve field issues quickly and effectively
Ensure material procurement aligns with project schedule
Maintain organized project documentation
Hold field personnel accountable to schedule and scope

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of electrical industry experience
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction
Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, progress billing, and margin protection
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
Proven leadership managing field personnel and multiple active projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers and field teams
Highly organized, decisive, and accountable
Self-directed leader capable of making sound, timely decisions without constant oversight
Demonstrated ability to anticipate problems and implement solutions proactively
Comfortable holding others accountable to scope, schedule, and standards
Experience with project management and job cost software preferred

Pay: $74,309.63 - $89,491.16 per year
