Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Quality department, including staffing, budgeting, performance management, and resource planning.
Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer requirements, and company policies.
Serve as the authority for quality- and safety-related determinations, including safety risk acceptance decisions.
Direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality policies, procedures, and standards.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Manager on the development and implementation of maintenance and inspection procedures.
Investigate maintenance discrepancies, deviations, and nonconformances; document findings and implement corrective actions.
Serve as the primary liaison with FAA, EASA, and other regulatory authorities on quality and compliance matters.
Oversee records and recordkeeping to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Submit required reports of serious defects or recurring unairworthy conditions per regulations.
Lead the development and implementation of company safety programs, ensuring safety promotion throughout the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Aviation Maintenance Management, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 8 years of aviation maintenance or quality management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or executive role within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station or equivalent.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant aviation regulations and quality systems (14 CFR Parts 43, 65, 121, 135, 145; EASA Part 145; AS9110/ISO 9001).
Proven experience working with FAA, EASA, and international regulatory authorities.
Expert knowledge of FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations and quality systems.
