Project Manager – Fence Sales

Cape Cod Fence Co. in Canton, Connecticut has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager at our high-volume fence company.

Cape Cod Fence Co. is the area’s most respected designer and installer of quality fencing. We are seeking a motivated, organized professional who can own a project from the initial customer interaction through final installation and close-out.

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is responsible for selling, planning, coordinating, and managing customer projects from beginning to completion. This role combines initial sales contact, customer relationship management, and hands-on project oversight to ensure each job is completed to Cape Cod Fence Co.’s quality standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from initial inquiry through project completion.
Consult with customers to understand their needs, present fence materials, styles, and options, and develop accurate, competitive project estimates.
Manage all aspects of sold projects, including scheduling, materials coordination, and communication with installation crews.
Oversee projects before, during, and after installation to ensure timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations are met.
Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, office staff, and field crews throughout all phases of the project.
Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction and address any final items.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with customers.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to manage projects from design and sale through installation and completion.
Comfortable working closely with installation crews and coordinating field operations.
Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and industry-specific systems (training provided for company software).
Energetic, self-motivated, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
