Position Summary And Responsibilities

You will be responsible for accomplishing clerical duties assigned to you by the Logistics Manager.

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

Must have 1 year working in a clerical environment and equivalent details.
Schedule loads for drivers.
Perform reporting tasks
Ensure assigned duties are accomplished accurately and in a timely fashion
Manage inbound phone calls as needed
Research requested information and ensured expedient response.
Provide administrative support to the department.
Help cover other clerical duties when someone is on vacation or absent.
Familiarity with freight handling, shipping, and receiving processes.
Help with other projects throughout the office as needed.
Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Physical.
Logistics background experience preferred.
Must be very detail oriented and highly organized.
Outstanding computer skills: Accurate Data Entry Skills, alpha and numeric, 10 key by touch, MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, 45 wpm
Professional communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
Must be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment and schedule workload
Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Physical Requirements

Communicating with others to exchange information.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
