The Senior Project Engineer leads a team of Superintendents, Project Engineers and Project Administrators to deliver critical projects that are safe, on time, on budget and of the highest quality. Senior Project Engineers at Ferguson Construction are the key to operational success and are surrounded by highly motivated and focused teammates.

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist in the pre-construction process.
Assist and lead the procurement process.
Generate and manage project schedules and manpower requirements.
Schedule and lead job meetings and Owner meetings.
Manage and lead all communication for the project internallyexternally.
Manage and lead all project information, submittal and RFI submissions.
Manage and lead all change event activity.
Responsible for the overall financial health of the project including monthly variance meetings held with operations manager and project superintendent.
Create and maintain the high standard of trustworthy relationships for subcontractors, suppliers and all internal staff.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Construction Management or similar technical training/experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a project manager within the construction industry.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including MS Project
Strong working knowledge of Procore construction management software
Strong architectural and civil background along with mechanical and electrical knowledge
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently
