Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Healthcare Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the role involves:

designing and implementing ML/AI models to analyze and process healthcare data,
developing advanced data analytics and visualization solutions,
creating predictive models, and
collaborating with cross-functional teams to derive meaningful insights.

The position also requires constant exploration of cutting-edge methodologies to enhance wellness recommendations provided by the platform.

Qualifications

Ability to write code in SQL, R, or Python for processing large datasets in distributed cloud environments, and experience in processing and analyzing healthcare data.
Proficiency in Data Science techniques, including machine learning and predictive modeling
Strong skills in Statistics and Data Analysis for interpreting complex health data
Graduate level understanding of techniques in machine learning, knowledge representation, and artificial intelligence along with a strong understanding of statistics.Competence in Data Visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate findings
Experience working with clinicians and researchers across disciplines to develop approaches for use in clinical care.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biostatistics, or related field; a Ph.D. is a plus

Compensation: $2000-$3500 as a start
