Support Carpenter Needed!

Jamaica Cottage Shop Inc. is a premier Vermont-based manufacturer specializing in fine post and beam buildings like tool sheds, cottages, tiny homes & wood sheds. We are seeking a Support Carpenter to join our production team.

Responsibilities

Follow plans, layouts and verbal instructions
Safely operate hand and power tools
Work independently or as part of a team to meet production timelines
Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

Prior carpentry experience
Comfortable working both with a team or independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meet physical demands while adhering to all safety protocols
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs without issue or concern
Reliability, attention to detail and a positive attitude
Commitment to safe work practices

This is an in-person position, you must be able to reliably commute to South Londonderry, VT or be planning to relocate prior to starting work.
