Job: Woodworker/Carpenter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in various aspects of woodworking. This position is largely focused on the building of traditional wood storm windows.

Responsibilities

- Mill and assemble traditional wood storm windows to specifications.

- Cut glass and screen and assemble inserts for storms

- Prime and paint completed storms.

- Some on site work to measure window openings and installing completed storm windows.

- Create and maintain accurate records of builds and installations

- Individuals are responsible for the quality of their work.

- Willingness to work as part of a team

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Basic knowledge: Skilled in the use of woodworking hand and power tools.

- Attention to detail: A commitment to precision and quality craftsmanship.

- Math skills: Basic math skills for accurate measuring, calculating dimensions and configurations.

- Safety adherence: Learn and follow all safety procedures and regulations, using protective gear as required.

This position requires candidates to demonstrate strong craftsmanship skills in woodworking. Applicants should be detail-oriented team players committed to following safety standards while delivering high-quality results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
