Roots Decks & Remodels is a locally owned, growing construction company specializing in home remodels, interior renovations, and custom decks for residential homes and small businesses. We're looking for a Skilled Carpenter with strong experience in remodeling to join our team.

What You’ll Do

Work on residential remodels, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and general interior renovations.
Assist with or lead deck builds, porch remodels, and exterior carpentry.
Complete framing, trim work, drywall repairs, flooring installs, window and door installs, and other remodeling tasks.
Read and follow plans, take accurate measurements, and execute work with strong attention to detail.
Collaborate with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator and crew to keep projects on schedule.
Uphold Roots standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer communication.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of carpentry experience, specifically in remodeling/renovations.
Experience with both rough and finish carpentry.
Ability to problem-solve in older homes and real-world remodel environments.
Ability to lift materials, use power tools safely, and work in various weather conditions.
A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a respectful, team-first environment.
Valid driver’s license required.

Bonus: Experience with flooring, tile, drywall finishing, or minor electrical/plumbing is a plus.
