Our client, a $300 million/year water treatment plant and public works general contractor, is seeking an experienced WTP Project Manager to join their team on a new project near Oxnard, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in self-performing Water Treatment Plant construction projects.

Be a part of a winning team where your opinions matter. A qualified person for this position will have 7+ years of self-performed experience in Heavy Civil / Water, Wastewater Treatment Plant construction. This position is office-based with limited regional travel.

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in Water Treatment Plant construction
BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience required
Proven experience in managing projects in the $5M- $40M range from beginning to end
Experience in managing self-perform forces in Heavy Highway construction

Responsibilities

As the PM, you’ll be responsible for the complete execution of various projects from beginning to end.
You will manage a team of Superintendents, Project Engineers, and associated field management.
You will be responsible for managing subordinates and subcontractors.
The Project Manager position’s accountability includes, but is not limited to: Pre-construction, Project Set-up, Project Cost-Control, Scheduling, Complete Project Oversight, and Profit & Loss.
