Registered Manager – UASC & Leaving Care Services

We are seeking a Registered Manager – UASC & Leaving Care Services to support manage for one of our business unit’s OFSTED regulated Semi Independent homes in England. The role reports into the Head of Integrated Services or in their absence the Service Director.

Key Responsibilities include:

Monitoring and improving daily functions across 16+ semi -independent homes
To offer support, develop and identify what training is required for the Home Managers / deputy managers at our Semi-Independent Homes.
To deal with home managers / deputy managers and key staff who are under performing or lack the abilities for the role that they are responsible, this will include holding Performance management meetings with an action plan to follow and then disciplinary actions if no improvements are made.
Be the lead in setting up new provisions
Be the main point of contact to OFSTED
To work with the HR Team on our recruitment process for all job roles within the organisation and that all the required paperwork (DBS, References, ID, Qualifications, and Trainings etc) are in place.
Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures
Establish production KPIs and conduct quality assessments
Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
Build processes that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance

Experience and Qualifications:

An experienced practitioner and manager in Children’s Services.
Extensive knowledge of statutory and legal duties working with Looked After Children
Social Work Degree or Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care
A track record of coaching and developing team members.

Salary and Benefits:

Package between £38,000 up to £45,000 – depending on experience
Bonuses up to 25% of Basic Salary

NB: The Successful candidate may be required to work weekends, including evening shifts as well as provide remote out of hours support to staff at the various homes.

The role will be required to set up multiple new provisions and a background in business development would be useful.

Candidate must be a driver with access to their own car. Company car can be provided.

Role can Include Sponsorship to work in the UK.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
