Construction Project Manager
Nelson Building Company is seeking a Project Manager with construction experience. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of our builds involving multiple trades. You will coordinate with subcontractors in the field as well as engineers, designers, and material distributors to ensure transfer of information is delivered, understood and implemented within the required time frames and budget; adhering to the details specified by the scope of work and contractual obligations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Function as subject matter expert for the specified trade or trades.

Develop a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contractual obligations and construction blueprints.

Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics and compliance requirements at all times.

Lead, develop, and manage project leads, crew chiefs, partners and subcontractors.

Develop relationships and act as liaison with engineers, designers, support techs and inspectors to maintain flow of consistency on each project.

Conduct thorough construction document reviews, bring any concerns to the attention of the appropriate staff members for resolution.

Schedule for materials, subcontractors, and any extra equipment that is necessary to execute the project.

Responsible for maintaining project organization to ensure that the job progress can be easily tracked and identified.

Schedule, conduct and document job meetings with clients, separate trades, inspectors and others.

Manage information on changes in the work, obtain and check estimates for the changes from the subcontractors, obtain architectural approval of the plans and resolve any owner related conflicts.

Prepare subcontract change order requests as needed for each project.

Visit job site(s) daily to troubleshoot issues and suggest resolutions to problems, conflicts and issues that may arise.

Update and archive job data on multiple software platforms.

Pay: $71,449.19 - $86,046.34 per year
