HVAC Project Superintendent/Foreman

Include: The following are the minimum requirements for this position and the position is not limited to the following.

5+ years’ experience working in a commercial setting
Be able to read and understand Plans and Specifications
Have a good understanding of HVAC systems
Be able to work as a team with the Project Manager, Engineer, and Owner
Good communication skills
Detail oriented
Have the ability to lead through your own good work ethic
Basic computer skills for daily and safety reports

Responsibilities

Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Implements a project specific safety plan and attendance sheets
Creates and updates construction schedule with Project Manager
Attend project meetings
Sub-Contractor coordination
Quality Control on site
Interact and maintain constant communication with Owner, Engineers, Sub-Contractors and Employees

Requirements: (At a minimum)

Understand Chilled Water Systems
Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Must be able to pass Jessica Lundsford background check
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 a plus
Possess strong desire, willingness, and ability to learn new tasks.
Ability to manage time and work load effectively.
Ability to show up to work on time.
Be able to work on weekends and second shift at times.
If approved be able to drive a company car or pickup.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures.
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Outstanding communication
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or ;reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop ,kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with dolly, pallet jack, etc.

If approved be able to drive a company van or pickup.
