Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in plumbing, construction, or field service. The Apprentice Plumber will work alongside experienced plumbers on various construction sites, assisting with plumbing installations and maintenance tasks. This role offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop essential skills in the plumbing trade.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
Support the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications.
Learn to perform pipe threading and other necessary plumbing techniques under supervision.
Help maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Develop mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and tools used in the field.
Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.

Requirements

A strong interest in pursuing a career in plumbing or related fields such as construction or carpentry.
Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred; familiarity with tools used in plumbing is a plus.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with plumbing work, including lifting heavy materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on construction sites.
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques from experienced professionals.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Previous experience in field service or construction environments is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
