Duties

Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
Operate basic tools and machinery such as drills, saws, and forklifts under supervision
Mix and pour concrete, lay bricks or blocks, and install basic framing components
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues
Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, holding materials, or performing other supportive tasks
Perform routine inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards or issues
Maintain cleanliness of the work site by disposing of waste materials properly and organizing tools and supplies

Qualifications

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to learn safety standards on-site
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment is advantageous
Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute to team success

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
