About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Technical Project Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating the technical aspects of new product development projects, from initial design to final production. Your expertise in project management and communication will ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Spearhead the technical direction of product development projects, ensuring seamless transitions from concept to launch.
Work closely with planning, design, supply chain, and operations teams to align project objectives, define scope, and establish clear deliverables.
Oversee new product introductions (NPI), acting as the key link between design engineering and operations, ensuring manufacturing readiness and process validation.
Craft detailed cost models, generate quotes, and develop efficient process routings to support competitive pricing and achieve target gross margins.
Create and deliver comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and technical specifications, to keep stakeholders informed.
Track project milestones and performance metrics, providing regular status updates and identifying areas for improvement.
Champion the adoption of best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project workflows and enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial) or a related discipline.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
Proficiency in using CAD Software (Solidworks, Pro-E / Creo).
Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Preferred Skills

2+ years of experience in project engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective collaboration within team environments.
Adept at using project management software and various engineering tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
