Job Description:
The Construction Foreman is responsible for supporting M.R. Brewer’s vision and strategy. This role involves running construction projects, including renovations, additions, new homes, and installations. The Construction Foreman leads and supervises crew members assigned to them during the duration of the project(s) they are running. Additionally, the Construction Foreman represents the company on-site daily, managing subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

Run construction projects, including renovations, additions, new homes, and installations
Lead and supervise crew members assigned to the project(s)
Represent the company on-site daily, managing subcontractors
Perform general and finish carpentry tasks
Set goals for the crew that align with the project manager’s schedule and project timeline
Regularly check the quality of work to ensure it aligns with company standards and methods
Engage with company clients and industry partners

Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of residential construction, building methods, and construction schedules
10 years of related carpentry experience
Effective inquiry skills and critical thinking
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, both orally and in writing
Effective leadership skills
Pleasant customer orientation and telephone communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
