Estimator and Project Manager

Job description:

Wagner Ranch Services performs a wide variety of work including road building, installing underground utilities, digging foundations, site grading, concrete and asphalt prep, septic systems, pond and reservoir construction, culvert installation, stream bank restoration, custom crushing, and reclamation. We are looking for someone to estimate, permit and manage work on all types of projects.

Applicant should have experience with city and state plans, specifications, and design standards. Experience with civil design/construction, pond and reservoir design, and mine design and permitting is preferred.

Applicant must accurately assess and estimate costs for excavation, land clearing, grading, and other services as well as review project requirements and conduct site visits to gather necessary information.

Applicant should have CAD software experience in addition to experience with other typical office/engineering software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Applicant needs to be calm, professional, and capable of making good decisions under stressful situations. Applicant must lead by example and be able to teach and help other employees grow.

Applicant must have excellent customer service skills.

Schedule:

We typically work Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week. However, there are times when it is necessary to work longer days or to work on weekends. Applicant must be willing to have a flexible schedule when needed.

Wages:

Wages depend on experience and will be discussed after interview.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
