Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up safety barriers and organizing materials
Install windows & doors, trim, framing, siding, demo, framing valleys, framing stairs, etc.
Operate basic construction equipment under supervision, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Support skilled tradespeople like plumbers, masons, and electricians, etc. in their daily tasks
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of debris and securing tools and materials
Participate in site inspections and report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Contribute to the timely progress of projects by completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

Skills

Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding manual labor throughout the workday
Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures diligently
Good communication skills for effective teamwork on busy construction sites
Great understanding of all carpentry; prior experience is a must.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
Strong work ethic with punctuality, reliability, and a proactive attitude
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
