The RRS management consists of an Army Veteran and a veteran of the custom crating and relocation support industry. As such, the RRS team is very passionate about teamwork and getting the job done right while supporting the development of each employee.

The Custom Crating Technician is a valued member of the RRS team and fits seamlessly into the team schedule and rhythm. An employee in this position supports the overall mission of the company by building custom crates on location for special items in preparation for shipping. Following training completion, the Custom Crating Technician visits multiple locations during each workday to assist with preparing special items for a move. Once the items are prepared for shipping, the Custom Crating Technician carries on to the next job site and movers come in to load the items on to trucks. In addition to constructing custom crates, other duties include activities such as disassembly and reassembly of unique pieces (i.e. pool tables, grand pianos, etc.) and uninstalling or reinstalling things like TVs, washer/dryers, etc.

- Something different each day. Whether its building something to protect a giant chandelier or preparing a grand piano for shipping, this job will have you in a different location with a different challenge each day.

- Training. New employees receive paid training upon on-boarding. During training, employees will conduct in-office hands on training, virtual training, and field training. Upon completion of training, employees begin regularly scheduled work as an apprentice team member.

You are an excellent fit for this position if the following are true:

- You are excited to take on new challenges each day and are comfortable with addressing issues that you have not run into before.

- You are good with your hands and have experience with power tools (power drills, circular saws, nail guns, etc.) and are comfortable driving a cargo van or truck. (Must be able to lift heavy items)
