Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Site Superintendent to join our dynamic Capital Region construction team. In this vital role, you will support the successful execution of construction projects by assisting with site management and subcontractors, scheduling, managing deliveries, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating daily operations. Duties

Assist the Site Superintendent in overseeing daily construction activities, managing subcontractors and scheduling.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth workflow on-site
Manage onsite deliveries and material inventory
Perform daily walkthroughs and tracking progress daily.
Coordinate inspections ensuring work meets specifications and industry standards
Provide access and job site security
Maintain detailed documentation including daily logs and photos in Procore.
Enforcing prevailing wage policy

Experience / Knowledge / Skills

Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction management processes
Familiarity with construction software such as Procore
Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols, OSHA standards, and quality control procedures. Familiar with Prevailing Wage policies is a plus.
Strong communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members, subcontractors and clients.
Must be proficient in reading construction drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
