Vice President of Operations

Our client is a leading EPC and infrastructure solutions provider serving the oil, gas, and chemical sectors across North America. With a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects safely, on schedule, and on budget, the company is expanding its strategic operations footprint in California. The Vice President of Operations will play a key role in driving that growth and leading high-performing teams across project execution, field operations, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day project execution across multiple job sites and regions; ensure performance meets or exceeds safety, quality, and productivity targets.
Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement California growth strategies aligned with client demand and emerging market opportunities.
Manage P&L responsibility for regional operations; monitor budgets, forecasts, and profitability metrics.
Ensure consistent project controls, reporting, and risk management standards are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as a key executive interface with major clients, partners, and regulatory agencies across California.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in operations, construction management, or project delivery within the oil, gas, or chemical sectors.
Proven track record leading large-scale EPC or heavy industrial projects ($100M+).
