About the Role
The Logistics Supervisor oversees day to day logistics operations for large scale experiential programs with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across multiple markets. The role provides leadership to logistics teams, manages warehouse and vendor relationships, and ensures all assets, materials, and field resources are deployed correctly and on time.
This position acts as a key operational link between logistics teams, field teams, fulfillment partners, and internal leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong logistics expertise, team leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex workflows in a fast paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Oversight
- Supervise and mentor Logistics Managers and support staff.
- Oversee workload distribution and ensure priorities are met.
- Train new logistics personnel on systems, processes, and best practices.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing coaching.
- Promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Logistics Operations Management
- Lead the deployment and movement of event assets across programs and markets.
- Manage planning and execution of logistics workflows including storage, maintenance, routing, and fulfillment.
- Ensure operational consistency, documentation accuracy, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot escalated logistics challenges and implement solutions.
Program and Category Support
- Oversee logistics operations for programs requiring category specific compliance, such as spirits sampling.
- Ensure teams follow proper regulatory requirements for transport, handling, and program setup.
- Partner with field leadership to forecast needs and allocate resources.
Warehouse, Vendor, and Partner Management
- Maintain high level relationships with warehouse partners and fulfillment vendors.
- Oversee contract adherence, performance metrics, and SLA compliance.
- Support sourcing and onboarding of new vendors and warehouse partners.
- Resolve warehouse discrepancies, shortages, or damaged shipments.
Inventory, Tracking, and Budget Oversight
- Ensure real time accuracy of inventory systems across all markets.
- Monitor logistics budgets and support cost efficiency strategies.
- Review post program reconciliations, reporting, and performance summaries.
Cross Functional Communication
- Serve as the operational connection between logistics, field teams, account teams, and leadership.
- Lead recurring logistics syncs and communicate proactively on risks and priorities.
- Provide leadership visibility into operations, resourcing, and trends.
Physical and On Site Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50 pounds or more.
- Frequent standing, bending, and physical activity.
- Travel up to 20 to 40 percent for market support, warehouse visits, and launches.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Five or more years of logistics, event production, experiential operations, or supply chain experience.
- Prior experience supervising or managing logistics teams.
- Experience in regulated categories such as spirits or beverage alcohol preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehousing, routing, inventory systems, and logistics best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations across multiple markets.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proactive problem solving and decision making ability.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, inventory platforms, routing tools, and cloud based systems.
- Hands on, collaborative leadership style.
