The IT Support Specialist ensures that MeBe’s technology runs smoothly across all Learning Centers, remote teams, and telehealth environments. This role provides technical support, maintains hardware and software systems, and helps implement secure, efficient solutions that keep our clinicians and staff connected and productive.
You’ll be a go-to problem solver—supporting everything from laptops and printers to VPN access, video conferencing, and network troubleshooting—with a focus on delivering excellent, people-first service.

About What You’ll Work On:
- Work closely with our IT staff to learn MeBe’s processes and systems with a very strong ability to research, learn, and work independently.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues (in-person, remote, and hybrid users).
- Manage onboarding/offboarding IT processes (device allocation and management, logins, email, VPN, device setup, and permissions).
- Maintain and troubleshoot systems across MeBe’s offices and Learning Centers, including internet connections, printers, and audiovisual equipment.
- Support and configure cloud-based platforms such as Google Workspace, Monday.com, Paylocity, Central Reach, and other business tools.
- Partner with Operations, Training, and People Ops to ensure smooth technology support during staff transitions including onboarding and offboarding.
- Track IT assets and maintain accurate inventory and device assignments.
- Ensure compliance with MeBe’s data security and privacy protocols (HIPAA and company standards).
- Assist with network administration, security patches, and updates in collaboration with external vendors or consultants.
- Identify recurring technical issues and propose long-term solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Support telehealth infrastructure, ensuring clinicians can connect securely and effectively with families.
- Complete tasks and project work as needed
Qualifications:
- This is a hybrid position, must be local to San Diego, CA and able to travel between our three San Diego County sites
- 2+ years of experience with IT systems and high level of computer literacy and competency.
- IT support experience in a multi-site and remote environment
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Admin Console).
- Experience supporting Windows and macOS systems, printers, and mobile devices.
- Understanding of network fundamentals (routers, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to translate technical solutions into simple language.
