Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery for power transformer installations, from overseas manufacturing and logistics coordination through to on-site assembly and commissioning. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle from factory shipment to site delivery, installation, and final commissioning.
- Oversee supplier management for transformer oil, installation contractors, and field service support.
- Collaborate with quality and field service teams to resolve customer issues, coordinate parts procurement, and schedule site service activities.
- Interpret and apply customer-specific requirements for transformer oil, site testing, and delivery conditions.
- Provide regular project updates to clients, managing expectations and maintaining strong communication throughout the project cycle.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
- Facilitate internal and external coordination meetings; produce progress reports and documentation.
We are looking for the following experience;
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- 4+ years of project management experience, ideally in an industrial, electrical, or manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with project management tools or ERP systems.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
- Background working with transformers, switchgear, or other high-voltage electrical equipment.
- Experience managing international manufacturing projects or cross-functional teams.
