About the Role
BAGGU is looking for a full-time Retail Project Manager to join our growing team.
This role is an integral part of our Retail team - responsible for managing timelines, workflows, and cross-functional communication for our new store openings & other in person retail experiences.
As the Retail Project Manager, you’ll work closely with our Director of Retail, New Store Opening team & larger retail team to bring our new stores, projects, & seasonal launches to life. Your work will help keep the team focused and organized, enabling us to continue delivering thoughtful, well-designed spaces that reflect BAGGU’s aesthetics & values.
This position is open to those located in the NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, & Chicago markets with a hybrid schedule of at least 1 day per week on-site in store and the ability to travel for store openings.
Location and Working Hours
Candidate must:
- Be able to work from one of our stores at least 1 day/week
- Be able to travel to existing stores, new store openings, and other retail activation sites
- Be located in the NYC, LA, SF, or Chicago markets
- Typical working hours are 10a-6p
Responsibilities
- Set retail project budgets & timelines
- Ensures store projects are delivered on time & to budget
- Ensures spaces are developed in accordance with stated goals & BAGGU’s core values
- Work with Visual Merchandising Manager & architect to develop, produce, and deliver new fixtures to stores
- Coordinate deliveries between fixture manufacturers & store teams
- Run weekly NSO meeting with core NSO team
- Attend OAC meetings & keep Retail team & other cross functional partners informed of pertinent updates & milestones
- Facilitate internal communication between Stores, Creative, & Marketing teams
- Maintain, administer, & streamline Retail department’s seasonal launch deliverables including seasonal pre-selling tasks for Managed Wholesale team
- Main point of contact for the company on NSOs
Requirements
- 1-2 years Store Manager experience
- 2+ years project management experience
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail, with a proactive mindset and clear communication style
- Ability to travel 4-5 weeks of the year
- Experience with Asana
- Proficiency in Google Suite
