Director of Supply Chain Planning

We’re partnering with an established, high-growth manufacturing organization to find a Director of Supply Chain Planning. This leader will strengthen and scale S&OP, drive inventory strategy, and oversee inbound supply execution across a broad SKU portfolio.

What You’ll Lead
- Own the end-to-end S&OP process to align demand, supply, and capacity planning
- Drive short- and long-term inventory strategy, including safety stock and service level targets
- Lead inbound supply chain execution, including supplier logistics, container flow, and material availability
- Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align forecasts and execution plans
- Build and mature planning processes, reporting tools, and data-driven decision frameworks
- Manage supply planning performance through KPIs, scenario analysis, and root-cause problem solving
- Lead and develop a high-performing supply planning function
What You Bring
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain planning experience in manufacturing or distribution
- Proven success leading S&OP and inventory strategy at the divisional or enterprise level
- Experience managing inbound material flow (imports, freight, brokers, drayage, supplier logistics)
- Strong analytical skills: Excel / SQL-based tools / ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle, Prophet21, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a mid-sized, fast-moving environment
- Track record of improving inventory turns, material availability, and supply chain performance
- Effective people leadership — able to develop talent and drive accountability
- Bachelor's required; relevant certifications (APICS, CPIM, CSCP) preferred
