ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER

Zoladz Construction Co., Inc. is a large civil works, paving, environmental, and trucking company that has been in business since 1984. We are growing at our Rochester office and are seeking a full-time Estimator / Project Manager. The Estimator / Project Manager must have a strong background in sitework estimating and be capable of working independently as well as be able to collaborate with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving and positive results in a large, fast-paced construction company.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

· Prepare estimates for projects ranging from $1 Million to $15 Million

· Maintain accountability for project execution and successful completion

· Understand project goals and deadlines

· Manage day-to-day administrative responsibility, RFI’s, submittals, contracts, CO, and pay apps

· Coordinate field work with General Superintendent, Project Superintendent and Management Team

· Review, approve and process material submittals and shop drawings

· Facilitate material purchase orders and subcontract agreements insuring timely delivery of products

· Maintain and monitor job costs within budget, preparing monthly job analysis reports

· Review and authorize payments to subcontractors and suppliers

· Proficient in MS Office products (Word, PWP, Excel, Outlook) and HCSS Estimating/Job Management software a plus

REQUIREMENTS

· A minimum of 5 years’ related experience

· Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills

· Commitment to detail and a strong sense of urgency

· Must demonstrate superior organizational and documentation skills
