Job Title: Project Manager (Entry-Level / Junior) – Construction & Development

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager (Entry-Level / Junior) to join our team in either Los Angeles or Chicago. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a background in construction management, project management, or a related field, looking to build a long-term career in real estate development and construction.

This position is not remote and requires candidates to work full-time in-office, with regular coordination across active project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of construction and development projects from pre-construction through completion
Assist in project coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and tracking project milestones
Work closely with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants
Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with project timelines, scope, and quality standards
Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders
Assist with procurement, vendor coordination, and contract administration
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and local regulations
Maintain organized reporting systems and support overall project delivery and execution

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Certification or formal training in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, or equivalent) preferred
Strong interest in construction, development, and project coordination
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); familiarity with construction/project management software is a plus

Compensation – based on experience

Schedule: Part-Time to transition into Full Time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
