We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team and contribute to the success of our upcoming projects.

Position Overview: As the Construction Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of excavation projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of skilled laborers and equipment operators to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in excavation and construction, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a crew of excavation personnel, including equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors.
Plan and schedule excavation activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements.
Conduct pre-job meetings to review project scope, safety protocols, and work procedures with the team.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
Monitor equipment performance and maintenance, coordinating repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of work progress, equipment usage, and other relevant project documentation.
Solve on-site challenges and make real-time decisions to keep projects on track and resolve any issues that may arise.
Maintain effective communication with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in construction is a plus.
Proven experience as an excavation construction foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment operation, and construction processes.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficient computer skills, including the use of project management and scheduling software.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
OSHA certification is a plus.

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
