Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager has the primary responsibility of coordinating the design specifications between the equipment suppliers and the customers in accordance with the defined project outlines.
The Project Engineer/Manager will manage certain projects from sales handover to site acceptance test.

REPORTS TO:

Managing Director

REPONSIBILITIES:

1. Attend and support weekly project meetings with Pattyn in Belgium and other Vendors.

2. Attend and support project meetings with customers for concerns/questions as needed.

3. Administrate all project specification between quotations, order confirmations, purchase orders in cooperation with the Project Administrators, and Project managers in Belgium/France.

4. Coordinate technical specifications for the complete project.

5. Create equipment layout drawings(ACAD) and update as required.

6. Identify any special line specific features not available from current vendors.

7. Cross reference equipment deliveries with purchase orders.

8. Define equipment utility requirements for all projects.

9. Support of in-house equipment set-up for FAT and testing.

10. Generate functional specification descriptions.

11. Define layouts with sensor positions and descriptions.

12. Evaluation/Selection of equipment suppliers.

13. Evaluate consumables and generate consumables reports.

14. Support the coordination of onsite startups and SATs.

15. Occasional travel to lead kick off meetings, support vendor FATs, or support customer startups.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Industrial or electrical engineering degree or similar technology management degree.

2. Desire to work for a fast pace company, take responsibility, self starter, and be a team player.

3. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability work well with others.

4. Ability to maintain financial and other records with an attention to detail, providing needed information as requested.

5. Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD & Solidworks, with the ability to learn customized programs quickly.

6. Ability to provide oversight and supervision in an effective manner.

7. Ability to make good judgements.

8. Professional appearance and demeanor.
