Under the direction and supervision of the Program Manager, the Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the oversight of capital design and construction projects of limited scope from concept, design, construction to D.S.A. close-out, ensuring project scope, schedule, budget and objectives are met, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures, reporting responsibilities and all applicable regulations. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Assists with establishing a point of contact for engineering with General Contractor, Architects, Consultants, and Suppliers
Assists with the submission of technical drawings, and samples for client/Architect approvals
Attends, when asked, site meetings with owners and General Contractors
Coordinates with Project Manager(s) project Work Plan and schedule
Assists with the coordination and tracking of monthly progress payments, project change orders, and project estimating
Interfaces with Accounting for material requisition and contracting
Review/coordinate Contractor Daily Reports, IOR Daily Reports as related to site visits issue logs, progress photos, and construction meeting minutes
Assists with evaluating RFI's and maintaining logs
Assists with coordinating, delivery and installation of owner furnished equipment
Track project schedule and progress of the contractor and suppliers
Update contractor changes to the plans, specifications and/or schedule
Perform other duties, within the level of responsibility, as assigned
Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or

Salary Range - $97,500 - $110,000

Requirements

Minimum Experience

Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or business from four-year college or university preferred

Preferred Experience

Educational and/or DSA programs/projects experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Revit, or similar BIM software

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Educational and/or DSA programs/projects experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
Able to create budgets and schedules using design software and scheduling software
Proficient in Project Management Software
Able to identify and resolve problems
