Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 5 locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading people, and can confidently balance day-to-day transportation operations with problem-solving and team support. You’ll play a key role in keeping deliveries running efficiently while helping develop and support our driver team.

Pay: $65,000 - $70,000

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
Start Time: 5 AM

What We’re Looking For

Class A or B CDL license preferred
1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Someone who takes initiative and looks for ways to improve processes

What You’ll Do

Lead and support the transportation team on daily operations
Maintain and update truck maintenance records and tracking spreadsheets
Monitor shuttle truck arrivals and departures
Schedule pickups and coordinate transportation logistics
Work directly with drivers on runbacks and route support
Review and manage trip reports and transportation documentation
Assist with driver onboarding and training
Support hiring efforts for transportation team members
Serve as backup support for routing operations when needed
Step into delivery routes as operational needs arise
